Blogging Everyday in June - Day 4: Crafting Seasons & Silver...

It's Day 4 of the Kairen's Blog & Craft Challenge and today asks...
Day 4: What is your Favourite Crafting Season? or Craft something in Silver

Today I'll do a double whammy and do both! Woohoo!

So firstly, my favourite crafting season is Winter, only because of Christmas and the preparation leading up to it and I enjoy the Yuletide season! It's always fun and festive :) I also find that I have more time over the Christmas holiday to craft because I get long periods of time off, so that's always nice!

As it's a double whammy, I decided to try something out in Silver rather than craft anything major in Silver...

I've been trying to work with embossing for a short while. I'm still experimenting with a few techniques to see what is best to use and what designs I can come up with. So here I have used the Lawn Fawn Happily Ever After stamp set with Versamark and stamped this on to some white cardstock to create this design for either a wedding or engagement card. I've then embossed with a heat tool using the Papermania Silver Embossing powder too. Still leaning towards the CAS route!

Here's to Day 5 tomorrow... :)

  1. Looks like you got embossing off to a tee. I never seem to be able to do neat and tidy on mine so I always work it in my favor and only do embossing on grungy type cards lol

    1. I try to get it as neat as I can on some cards, but I end up with powder everywhere! I wish I could do grunge cards!

  2. Looks great Mel and sometimes the CAS look is what is needed for a statement. It certainly works well with this card. Good work working on both prompt and crafting for today. Christmas is a great time to craft
