Blogging Everyday in June - Day 7: I Heart Paper

It's a week into the 30 day challenge now so let's see what Day 7 asks:
Day 7: What is your favourite medium to work with? or Craft something with a Sporty theme

Today I'm going with a written post. Hmmm... my favourite medium to work with has got to be PAPER

It's always been the original, back to basics material that I've always used, whether it's patterned paper, thicker paper (thin cardstock) or vellum. Me and paper get along really well and I can always rely on it to match it with anything I'm creating or making. The versatility of paper is brilliant and with it being available in such great, vibrant colours and with different textures, cuts and type, it's uses are amazing and there are potentially so many ideas that can be made from it.

* Little Haul Bit *

Made an order with Paper Smooches and Avery Elle this week and picked out two die sets and two stamp sets. I'm hoping to use these stamp and die sets during this months challenges! :)

I bought:
Handwritten Notes and Party Animal from Avery Elle and
Quotables dies and Balloons dies from Paper Smooches

Hoping to get some crafting done this weekend with these new stamp and die sets. Happy Crafting!

  1. Love how your medium is paper.. I would never have classed that as a medium really but without it - the cards/layouts probably would look pretty boring, and you are right it gives such texture to a card/layout and brings colour into the mix aswell. Thanks for sharing. x

    1. Thanks Kelly! I think a lot of crafters wouldn't classify paper as a medium either, but I thought it would be a good one to mention seeing as it's so versatile! Mel xx

  2. Oooh, never even thought of paper but I do love it, maybe I'm even a little bit addicted to it and you're so right, it's probably the most versatile of mediums. Love your new stash too....can't wait to see what you make with it!
