Blogging Everyday in June - Day 9: Living the Craft Life...

So it's Monday again (The weekend went a bit fast for me!) and it's the ninth day in the challenge, so lets see what today holds...

Day 9: If you could start your Craft Life all over again what would you do differently or craft something with a Beach theme

As I'm not at home at this present moment, I'll go for the written part of the post today. There's probably a lot of things I would do differently, one of them is my appropriate use of time. I am a natural procrastinator, I leave things quite late, but its only because my best work comes out when I'm more under pressure and I like the feeling of pulling out a great card or project at a spare moment. I wish I was a lot more organised with my crafting and projects more - I think half of the time I am, but the other half not so much - and that's the half that takes over more because I get lazy. *Boo*

Another thing is space and storage. My craft things are in 10 A4 frosted plastic boxes under my desk and although they are labelled, there just really isn't enough room for everything, I find that I have to pull everything out and then having to shove things back in again. I'm also finding I have to de-size and get rid of things that I don't make good use of, or don't use anymore because I don't have room, or I can't see myself using in 6 months time, which is a bit of pity. If I buy a house in the future, which I am hoping to, like any other crafter that doesn't have one I'd like a Craft Room or a Studio Basement or similar, just to have some sort of organisation and room to actually do crafting, as my desk is tiny and there is no chair at my desk either, so it's a bit difficult without the space.

Other things are: learning new techniques, being a little more patient with my crafting and being a little more consistent with crafting - these things particularly need practice on my part and can be perfected in the near future. I am taking the time to enjoy the new techniques coming out and I'm also taking the time to enjoy crafting too as well as buying new things to create with and also coming out with great new projects and creating more awesome cards on a regular basis as well.

  1. I am exactly the same Mel I love to procrastinate! When really I could be crafting, then I get annoyed when I am falling behind! Whoops.

    1. I'm terrible with time! Like really awful, I wish I was better at being more time-efficient but I can't! It's just a natural habit unfortunately! Boo :S

  2. I think we all grumble about lack of space. Give me more space and I would just fill it lol

    1. That's the thing, I would probably just fill it with stuff, but I would like to have enough room to swing my hair about instead of bumping into stuff! Lol
